What to Expect

Smell, taste, feel

In a relaxed atmosphere, you will taste 6–8 wines from our steep-slope vineyards. We will share how our organic wines are created, what slate, climate, and manual labor mean for the Mosel region—and are happy to answer all your questions about grape varieties, vintages, and organic viticulture.

Wine tasting with a view of the Moselle Valley

Our wine shop is located in the middle of the vineyards above Osann-Monzel, not far from Bernkastel-Kues, with a sweeping view over the Moselle landscape. During the wine tasting, you will sample our wines right where they are created.

Questions and Answers

Can I come by spontaneously, or do I need to reserve?

A reservation via our online tool is highly recommended, especially during peak season. We try to accommodate last-minute requests, but cannot guarantee them.

How does a wine tasting work at your place?

Our wine tasting lasts 60–90 minutes and guides you through several organic Mosel wines from our steep slopes. We explain the terroir, vinification, and special features of organic viticulture.

Are wine tastings also available in English?

Yes – many of our guests come from the Netherlands, Belgium, Scandinavia, and English-speaking countries. We are happy to conduct all wine tastings entirely in English.

Which wines will be tasted?

You will be sampling a selection of our estate and single-vineyard wines. We are happy to tailor the tasting to your preferences.

How can I cancel the sample?
