Philosophy
What our wines stand for
Three decisions shape every wine we bottle: organic cultivation, authentic origin, and our work in the steep vineyards of the Mosel.

Organic since 1993
We have been farming organically since the 1990s – out of conviction and with a great deal of manual labor on the steep slopes. Today, we are among the few organic wineries on the Moselle whose vineyards are over 85% located on steep terrain.

Prädikat wine estate
All our wines are bottled as Prädikatsweine. This means: no enrichment with sugar, no artificial manipulation. Vintage and origin are the focus.

Truly Mosel
Steep slate slopes, spontaneous fermentation and a clear focus on the essentials. Our wines are not meant to feel manufactured, but rather to show where they come from.
